Instead of removing it or displaying it as decoration, you create a small reversible inner pocket that opens without cutting the fabric. During the fitting, the coat settles differently across your shoulders while the ticket stays near the heart inside. You may never learn the story of that seat, and you do not need to invent one. Let an object carry its past without allowing that past to prevent its use on a night of your own.
